1st Hour: Thu, May 31, 2012 (http://www.blogtalkradio.com/doctorprepper/2012/06/01/equip2endure) This week on the Equip 2 Endure show, we welcome primitive hunting expert Billy Berger. Billy Berger is a resident of Marietta, GA and he has been studying primitive survival skills for over 20 years. It began when he found a broken quartz arrowhead in Virginia while deer hunting with his dad, and he became fascinated with how ancient people survived. This began a quest to learn as much as he could about how ancient people hunted, made tools and weapons, created fire, tanned animal hides, and survived using nothing more than natural resources and their ingenuity. After mastering these skills he began writing magazine articles about hunting with primitive archery gear. He has since been published in numerous bowhunting magazines. His experience also landed him a part in The Discovery Channel’s I, Caveman, which aired in early October. In the show Billy and 9 others abandoned modern technology to live like cavemen did 20,000 years ago. Billy’s personal videos can be seen on youtube under the user name of Primitive Pathways. 2nd Hour: Thu, May 24, 2012 (http://www.blogtalkradio.com/doctorprepper/2012/05/25/equip2endure) This week on the Equip 2 Endure show, we welcome none other than TVs own Mr. Mykel Hawke. Mykel Hawke is a U.S. Army Special Forces "Green Beret" veteran with over 20 years of combined military, government contracting, and survival experience. He is the creator and star of two hit Discovery Channel shows, Man, Woman, Wild and a new series, One Man Army. Hawke is the bestselling author of a language book and two critically acclaimed survival manuals to include Hawkes Special Forces Survival Handbook.
