Something You Can Depend On

The one thing that you can depend on about being dependent on things is that when the thing you are dependent on goes away you will be a victim of the circumstances.  Double talk?   Not really.  The simple way of putting it is, “Absolute dependency can result in victimhood.”

Also understand that when things get really tough, victims don’t survive unless someone comes along to rescue them.  And if they are dependent on being rescued and no one comes, well there you have it!

We’ll explore the various areas that people in our society are dependent on, where dependency comes from, and what are the risks.  Once you recognize and accept the reality of an issue, you are empowered to choose whether or not you will do what it takes to reduce or eliminate that dependence.  This process is about gaining an understanding of the true issues and building multiple levels of appropriate backups that eliminate absolute dependence.  After all, absolute dependence in many areas can be dangerous, even downright deadly.
