Idaho Seminar Results. This week your Family Garden Doctor iinterviews two people who are doing a great job of growing in the difficult climate of southern Idaho. Stephen and Jill Kirk participated with us in the Weston, Idaho seminar 2 months ago, and they have been busy with their own greenhouse and garden, as well as helping others in their community to get started. We’ll hear about the Kirk’s trials, traumas and successes, which are many (the successes, that is).

Original Air Date Friday, May 20th. Listen to show two only

Gardening Seminar Experiences. This week Jim interviews the man who hosted our Gardening Seminar in February in Peoria, Arizona, to find out what HE has learned from the experience – and pick up advice for others who are considering gardening as a way to be prepared for the future, as well as eating healthy locally-grown produce. Join us to hear what Russ Strohmeyer, a serious home gardener, has to say about his experiences to date!
Original air date Friday, May 13th. Listen to show three only

Community Gardening, and Starting Tomatoes.  Your Family Garden Doctor visits again with Victoria Roth in central Oregon. She’ll tell us about the Community Garden they’ve created there, with many participants. You’ll also learn how to grow great tomato seedlings – and how NOT to grow them, and we’ll check in on the neighbors who had us create their Mittleider garden 6 weeks ago to find out how they’re doing. Join us!
