Self-Reliant Living
by
Safe Harbor Alliance
, hosted by Jim Phillips.
Tonight's topic:
Adventures in Preparation
. To be prepared in ways you have never been prepared before, you have to learn, experiment, and do things you've never done before, even if it means failing and trying again. The worst time to learn how to put on a parachute for the first time is when the plane is on fire, or in other words, don't wait until you are in the middle of a do-or-die situation to learn how to save your household.
Tonight's guest Lori Pratt talks about her adventures and some of the new things she is trying in her quest to be prepared--things she has never done before and perhaps only a handful of people alive in this country have ever done, such as milking sheep and making cheese.
