Today's topic: Home Fire Safety. Joyces's guest today is Ed Hauck, a retired senior fire captain with 32 years experience in Houston's busiest stations. He has a degree in fire protection and arson investigation. He's a master instructor for the National Association of Firefighters in hazmat management and weapons of mass destruction. He's been an instructor for NASA concerning emergency response. After 9/11/01 the FDNY requested his help in training special operations and cadets. Ed is here today to instruct us about what matters most - fire safety in the home. There is one thing you can do to protect your children. Do you know what it is?
