12:00PM-1:00PM CT: ICE Land, the Forum for Urban Preparedness with Leslie Fastenberg, focusing on emergency preparedness in the city and suburbs.

This week we welcome Rich Rotanz, full-time Special Advisor to the Provost for Emergency Management Programs at Adelphi University, to continue the conversation about urban preparedness. Rich has 40 years of experience in emergency preparedness including his role as Deputy Commissioner of New York City's Office of Emergency Management under Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani where he was responsible for re-instituting the destroyed emergency operation center at Pier 92, and managed the multi-organization response during the 911 tragedy.
