Dr. Mother Love on Love: Let's Talk About Family Continued

This evening at 6.30pm ET, we will continue from where we stopped last time with this great show that touches sensitive family issues people and society are silent about. In the last episode, I was talking about the couple that I had interviewed separately about their challenges in their relationship. For the interest of those not familiar with the story, I will summarize: The husband had complained to me that his wife and kids have no respect for him; that she insults him in their presence and accuses him of all sorts of things, yet he provides for them not minding but he admitted that he was fed up and needed help. I had to talk to the wife to hear her side of the story. My meeting with her was pathetic as she narrated her agony in her eighteen years of marriage. They have three daughters and her husband and his family are blaming her for the lack of a son. That is the root of their problem. Tonight, let"s talk about this situation that affects many couples, tearing some apart and destroying families. Let's revisit our values around this issue and see how to handle matters like civilized people in the 21st century. Join me tonight and invite others too. Bring questions and suggestions.
