On this week's show, I will be speaking with Rathana and RJ Sin, who are representatives of the Youth Cambodian Community Leaders program (YCCL). YCCL is part of Cambodian Community Development, Inc. (CCDI) based in Oakland, CA. CCDI is a non-profit organization that serves the Cambodian Community as well as the larger Bay Area with the mission of enhancing the quality of lives by providing social services and promoting community development. Rathana and RJ will talk to us about CCDI, YCCL and their work in the Oakland community and beyond. They are appearing in advance of their fundraiser, which will take place on Saturday, March 19th at the East Bay Art Alliance, located at 2277 International Boulevard, Oakland, CA. The fundraiser is to support YCCL's activities and their mission, which is to provide the area's youth with options to street life, and to challenge them to become critical thinkers and positive contributors to the community and to society, at large. Tune in to listen to these exceptional young men who are well on their way to securing their place as inspirational community leaders! They welcome your phone calls during the show, so don't be shy!
