Wednesay May 8, 6 pm Pacific/9pm Eastern: Join us as we welcome Moe Namsaran to the show!  She is the host of a new show addition to the DocRadio show lineup, "Martial Arts K.I.C."

In her own words......

I am the warrior known as Samanta "Mo-Hayasa" Namsaran. I started training at 7 years old at Simba Kai Dojo in the Kuroshi-Do System in Queens, NY under Kyoshi Muhammed. At Yellow tip I was honored by receiving my dojo name one day during class when Soke Haisan Kaleak was visiting. The name given to me was Hayasa which translate to speed in Japanese. This was such an honor because in our system a student normally gets their dojo name when they are promoted to Green belt. The dojo name represents you and what makes you special. After a little while the dojo closed down and I went to train under Soke Haisan Kaleak at Shiryio-Do Warriors Domain Dojo in Brooklyn,NY. I was the youngest and smallest one but that never mattered. I was always treated just like everyone else. Being a straight A student and doing well in martial arts I was inducted into the U.S.A. Martial Arts Hall Of Fame for the Special Over Achiever Award in 2004. Three years later at the age of 14 I was promoted to Black Belt 1st degree. This was another big day for me because on this day I became the youngest black belt in the Kuroshi-Do System.
