Natural Medicine for Everyone  

This is my first post here on BlogTalk and I thought we might as well start off with a bang.

There are many differences in how we look at healing and treatment these days. In my opinion healing is done by a higher power or naturally by the body, mind and spirit if you like to relate to this concept. Treatment done by someone or something that is used to mask, block or control certain functions to simulate healing or maybe in some cases to assist it.

The body in my opinion is designed to heal naturally and in almost all cases will do what it is designed to do. The challenge comes when it runs into a block of some kind. This block can be physical, emotional, or spiritual as well.  Some of the blocks that I have noticed over the years range from misdirection like looking at this ad here while trying to be intelligent in the discussion. It could be emotional like grief, self esteem/worth, or any of the wide range of negative emotions that we tend to embrace at times. It could be a lack of proper nutrition so the body does not have the fuel to heal or something as simple as the limiting belief that an authority figure has placed that you are unable to live any other way.

In my opinion the best medicine is a placebo that has no side effects or way of providing you any damage other than in how it is delivered. A placebo can also harm if used incorrectly.

The point of this discussion is to remember that you have the ability to heal naturally when you take the time to get rid of the blocks that are stopping you. You also should not resort to just one sort of modality or profession when looking for answers. Licensed medical professionals should be contacted to properly diagnose and prevent further damage from blocks and you combine natural medicine when you know what you are working with. I like to refer to natural medicine as complimentary medicine in that it compliments western medicine to assist patients in getting better faster and eliminating the need for drug therapy and treatment. It also addresses the whole person and not the symptoms which more and more medical personnel are highly recommending today.
