Also during the Docket, Aceman and the Kwass breakdown A-Rod's steroid confession press conference at Steinbrenner Field and all the media hype. The hosts also discuss position players reporting to Tradition Field and Carlos Beltran's remarks regarding Cole Hamels and the defending champion Phillies. As for Nate Robinson and the Slam Dunkin Knicks, hot topics include the inspiring post-All Star Game OT win against the Spurs and the Knicks involvement in potential trades for the Suns' Amare Stoudemire and Toronto's Chris Bosh. With the trading deadline looming, it is interesting to see whether there will be a new star Knickerbocker for the second half of the season. Being that the trade deadline is so close, Vince Carter's and all the trade rumors swirling around the Nets star is sure to find its way into the Docket. In-show updates of the Isles-Hurricanes and Devils-Lightning game come courtesy of Aceman. The Rangers and Nets plans to get back on track is also blueprinted on Docket #56. On the ice, hockey tidbits broached are Coach Tom Renney on the hotseat for the Blueshirts, Sean Avery's performance in the big Hartford-Bridgeport game, and the growing or fading rivalry between the Islanders and Rangers. With the NFL Season in the rear-view mirror, pigskin pointers tackled are Giants RB Ahmad Bradshaw's return to jail, and the Saints cutting RB Deuce McAllister in addition to what that means for the rest of NFL Runningbacks on the market.
