Reigning from the city of Washington, D.C., QUEEN GUTTAH, (born Stephanie Daughtry) was raised in 3 different sections of the city during her early childhood. Her family was living in the S.E. section when she was born but moved shortly after. She spent her adolescent years growing up in the N.E. section of the city in a neighborhood called “Paradise”. She also spent part of those years growing up with family and friends in the N.W. section of the city in a neighborhood called “Columbia Heights” due to a broken home situation. She attended Eastern Sr. High School for a short time until dropping out of school at age 15. After a stretch of living her life in the streets and, as a result, becoming a teenage mom, she was determined to turn her life around and become a better role model for her child. She got her GED, went to PG Community College in Largo, Md. and studied music theory, something she had always been interested in.
