I fight for who I am every day
I strive for better every day
I put on a face everyday
Don’t want to put on a face everyday but
In this world, you have to at certain times of the day
I am not a fake or a hypocrite
But to survive for me and my kid
I will put on that face
Bite my tongue
Have some etiquette
To get my funds
But I will not kiss you know what
No, Not me on any given day
Therefore, I fight for who I am every day
