Hi all, I enjoy listening to all the topics, however there are so many topics still waiting for discussion. DJ, I want to say that all women aren't looking for a man to take care them. I am looking for a guy that works just as hard as I do so we care take care of each other. I ve been a single mom for yrs, dated one guy in the last 2yrs, he was afaid to get married so I moved on. I know how hard I have worked to put myself through school. Dating to day is scary. Just so you know, I am beauiful inside and out. I will treat the right man like a King. The right being.... just someone who works hard and want someone to build with. I will support him to the end. Guys, I am just keeping it real. I am tired of trying to be the "strong black women". As I am mature, I understand the value of having a man. When he comes along, I will respect the ground he walks on and send him to work everyday with a smile. Now she's confined to the Georgia base where she is stationed, facing criminal prosecution by the Army. On Thursday, Hutchinson's lawyer, Rai Sue Sussman, said she was told by an officer that the Army planned to ship her client to Afghanistan on Sunday for a special court-martial and that she could spend a year in jail there. But Sunday came and went, and Hutchinson remains at Fort Stewart-Hunter Army Airfield outside of Savannah, Ga. "That's only because I took it to the press," said Sussman. One major theme in A Christmas Carol was rooted in Dickens' observations of the plight of the children of London's poor. It has been said of the times that sex was the only affordable pleasure for the poor; the result was thousands of children living in unimaginable poverty, filth, and disease. In 1839 it was estimated that nearly half of all funerals in London were for children under the age of ten. Those who survived grew up without education or resource and virtually no chance to escape the cycle of poverty. Dickens felt that this cycle of poverty could only be broken through education and became interested in the Ragged Schools in London. Ragged Schools were free schools, run through charity, in which the poorest children received religious instruction and a rudimentary education. Dickens generally applauded the work of these schools although he disapproved of introducing religious doctrine at the expense of a practical education which would help the pupil become a self-sufficient member of society. Ex president Jimmy Carter has stated that the Joe Wilson incident and the many public protests that have occurred since Obama entered the White House, are based with racist overtones.
It is not only facetious, but disingenuous for anyone to state, let alone believe that much of the rancor, anger and disdain for Obama is rooted in the color of his skin.

Many Christian believers are afraid, due to the uncertainties surrounding the issue of the afterlife. If a person becomes unsure of a thing, they begin to doubt; where doubt exists, fear creeps in to fill the void. One of the greatest fears most of us have is the loss of one’s life or that of a loved one.
Americans and those of other western nations possess a great deal of financial wealth and control much of material resources of the planet. The laws and politics, which govern the global economy, serve to protect the financial interests of those who control the wealth.
However, as a by-product, a great deal of insecurity develops within those who control the wealth. The rich fear losing the power, influence and control the wealth produces. Therefore, weapons are produced, walls are constructed to protect the treasures that an individual or nation values.
In their self-righteousness, the radical extreme fundamentalist groups within the body of the three major religions have sown the seeds of hate and discontent. Many shepherds have “fleeced” their flock and abusing their authority. Some are using the individual’s weaknesses to create fear for their own personal gain.
Some leaders foster an atmosphere of dependency to use their flock to live lavish lifestyles, erect temples, trophies, and monuments to revere and edify themselves, not God.
