About: DR KERLENE RICHARDSON
At eight months old, Dr. Karlene A. Richardson (nee Robinson), who was born in Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies, was sent to live with her grandparents. At 10 years old she passed her common entrance to attend Camperdown High School. She later attended Prospect Heights High School in Brooklyn, New York.
Dr. Richardson attended Nassau Community College where she obtained an associate's degree in Liberal Arts and Science, a bachelor's and master's degree from St. Joseph's College of Maine, and a doctorate in health administration from University of Phoenix.
Dr. Richardson uses her experiences as a victim of rape, teenage pregnancy, and homelessness yet successfully defying the odds to becoming a successful health care professional, to capture the essence of success. In her presentations, her passion of perseverance and endurance ignites the energy used to get audience participating, whether inwardly or with peers. Audience walks away more confident, more inspired, fired up to take on challenges. Each event is customized for the audience. Each of Dr. Richardson's presentation is customized for each organization's needs.
Dr. Richardson, a Pentecostal, is a doctor in health administration, professor, author, and motivational speaker and lives in Queens, New York.
Dr. Richardson is the founder of Now H.E.A.L.E.D., an organization that mentors and provide support for women. The first annual Now H.E.A.L.E.D. Tour begins August 21-25th, 2014 and include visits to homeless shelters motivating women to break free from their past, and teaching women the power of determining how their story ends.
