Call in to speak with the host
Today we're previewing our next big Down and Dirty with Frank Fontana television show, with our own radio twist!
Our first guest is American Indian Center of Chicago executive director Joseph Podlasek. He'll be on the phone to talk about his organization and the services they provide to Native Americans in our urban environment. Frank and the crew (along with some Blackhawks and Bears) will be revealing the center's renovation live tomorrow on our television program!
In our Craftsmanship segment, we're welcoming Chicago School of Shoemaking founder Sara McIntosh to the studio. She's been an amazing DIY cobbler for many years, and is now teaching the next generation of shoemakers from her own studio here in town.
We'll also be checking in with Burgundy Magazine founder J. Kevin Powell about his site targeted toward "the forward thinking man," as well as his recent "6 Phrases a Man Should Never Use" column. And we'll chat with River of Thoughts blogger Christine Niles about a crazy DIY Disaster.
So join us, would ya? We're getting Down and Dirty...
It's good to talk.
