Call in to speak with the host
We're celebrating baseball and beer (not necessarily in that order) on today's edition of The Down and Dirty with Frank Fontana! Our first guest is legendary Harry Caray's Italian Steakhouse bartender Frankie Osowski. We'll be talking with him about the Wrigleyville experience on game day, a bartender's perspective when rowdy Cubs fans hit the bars, as well as some great stories about Harry Caray himself. In our Craftsmanship segment we'll be talking beer with Goose Island brewer Todd Britt. Just what does it take to brew an award-winning series of craft beers? We'll also be welcoming John "Rock" Mamola of WSCR/The Score in to the studio for a sports-themed Man-Land segment, and it's Round 2 of the final bracket of our DIY Sidekick Search with Andrew Dreischarf and Martin Morrow. We're sure at least one of our guests has a great DIY Disaster story or two, and we'll also see what other fun stuff we can come up with! So set aside the beer for an hour (or drink up!), and get Down and Dirty with us on this lovely Wednesday.
It's good to talk.
