    • Open dialogue with friends, clients, and acquaintances.
    • I have always believed that the best "resource" is direct contact with people different  from us.  It seems to me most prejudices are based on stereotypes, and once we really get to know someone different from us and see that the reality rarely fits the stereotype, forward progress can be made.

    • At the university level, it has been JoAnn Moody's book, Faculty Diversity: Problems  and Solutions.
    • World Religion (book) Provided me with a new outlook on religion and how it's driving  force influences today's business professionals on how diversity represented in  the workplace.
    • Just beginning to gather pertinent information. The July issue of Black Enterprize is very helpful in defining  and listing best 50 companies in America for Diversity Commitments and follow thru.

You can find a list of "Bridging Differences" books on my website, www.37days.typepad.com" if that's of interest. I'm looking at books like David Berreby's "Us and Them" to explore the human condition of categorization and discrimination... The very best book written on race is a novel by Richard Powers entitled "The Time of Our Singing" - stunning.
    • Jack Welch  " Straight From the Gut" . . . His vitality or differentiation curve.
    • Tracy Brown's model that helped us discuss the extent to which our organization focused on awareness, accountability, alignment, and action in our diversity/inclusion strategy.
