Authors Exposed!

Bishop Elroy Benn has been an ordained minister for over twenty-five years.  He received his initial theological training from New Testament Bible Institute graduating with a Diploma in Theology.  As a result of further studies, he received Bachelor of Theology Degrees from Jameson Christian College and Orlando Bible College, and a Master of Theology Degree from Orlando Bible College. In 2005, Bishop Benn received a Doctor of Divinity Degree from Jameson Christian College.  He was ordained as Pastor in 1988, elevated to an Overseer in 2000, Bishop-designate in 2004, and consecrated as Bishop 2005. 

Bishop Elroy Benn officiates as Senior Pastor and Spiritual Leader of Deliverance Christian Fellowship Church, Newark New Jersey and Charlotte, North Carolina.  He serves as First Assistant to Bishop James H. Everett Jr., presiding Prelate of Deliverance Jesus Is Coming Association of Churches. He is a Newark Police Chaplin and member of Newark Police Clergy Alliance. Bishop Benn is also a Certified Temperament Counselor and member of the National Christian Counselors Association. As an author Bishop Benn has just released his first book, “Lord I’m Open...Insights Into The Life Of Lydia.” This book challenges the reader to be open and available to do God’s will.

Bishop Elroy Benn pursued academic training in Trinidad, W.I, where he obtained his General Certificate of Education, and then at Essex County College, New Jersey, where he received his Associates Degree in Social Science. Bishop Benn has also received awards and recognitions from various religious and social organizations. He has been married for thirty-five (37) years to his wife Delores and together they have produced three children; four grand-sons, and four grand-daughters.
