Our guest is Joy Gabler of The Vintage Rabbit. Joy is a native Californian who was crafting, designing and creating at the very young age of 7. In highschool she designed elaborate bulletin boards...then started working at a local pharmacy where a gift buyer was needed so Joy was taught how to buy and her pharmacy became known as the "Nordstrom" of pharmacies..she has been (25yrs.) and still to this day a talented gift buyer! Her love and appreciation for this occupation led her to start up her own company The Vintage Rabbit, 11 years ago. Her Business grew from a creative mind that let the designs take on a life of their own & she was led down the rabbit hole to an entire world of whimsy, color & unlimited possiblities.She has drawn from nature, the color wheel, fairy tales & alot of creative abandon. Joy lives on a farm which lets her be close to nature and that has played a big part in her designs. She has a workshop at home and 2 permanent shop spaces, she travels to shows, teaches classes, styles for photo shoots, stages homes, the sum of all these ventures, keeps her up on & ahead of, trends & has built her into a household name.
