    Literary Wednesday! The Literary Eat Of The Week!

    THE LITERARY EAT OF THE WEEK!

    Spiked Weekend Smoothie (10 min prep)

    8 Large Strawberries, trimmed, halved frozen
    3/4 Cup orange juice (freshly squeezed-optional)
    1/2 Tsp orange zest
    1 Cup vanilla frozen yogurt or ice cream
    1 Tbsp sugar (more if berries aren't sweet enough)
    2 Tbsp orange liqueur
    Orange wedges for garnish

    In a blender, combine frozen strawberries, orange juice, and orange zest. Pulse to corsely chop.  Add orange liqueur, frozen yogurt and sugar.  Continue to blend until smooth and frothy.  Pour into your favorite glass, and garnish with a yummy orange wedge and sip away.  Enjoy this literary eat with your favorite book by you favorite author. Enjoy.
