Literary Diva Presents; OMG I'm Proud to be black in America

Thanks to all who have listened to the show series "OMG I'm Proud to be black in America."  This show series is meant to keep individuals thinking and keep the dialogue going about race relations.  Let's not forget that race isn't going to go away. It's always going to be a hot topic among all individuals.  We have to bridge the gap between the races to inspire, encourage, and set an example for the next generation.  No more excuses on "oh this is how I was raised!"  We have to take responsibility for our thoughts, the things we say, and what we put out into the universe. Most of the time when people look at a certain race, the perception is totally off.  You have to be mindful of your thoughts and your judgements of others.  Things are steadily changing slowly when it comes to race relations in America.  However, we still have a lot of work to do among ourselves, our communities, and each other.  There is absolutely nothing wrong with different races being proud of who they are and of their heritage.  Take a stand for yourself, your heritage, and your community.  When we can allow ourselves to do just that, then we can bridge the gap with other races.  God Bless!
