It's 2011 and although we as the female species have come so far; we still have many woman who are looking to a "man" to validate who they are and their existence. Sad but true. In our society, social connections are very important and with that, comes other things like "people need to belong." Sick, ridiculous, and down right tragic at times; but it happens daily. For women, it goes deeper than a social connection. Most women are looking for validation even if it's with so-called social buddies. There are even women who will go in debt, sleep around, and change who they are to be accepted. Again, sad but true. It's time for women to step up and validate themselves. It's time for women to know they don't have to do all those things to be accepted and loved. Ladies it's time to step up and validate you and know that you are important no matter what.
