Join us as we dive into the life and literary works of Frances E.W. Haper. Born on the east coast she was a writer of many poems and books, and believed in what she wanted. She was also a teacher and a true activist for women who formed strong alliances with people such as Susan B Anthony. She wrote a book called Iola Leroy, which is an important literary work as of today. Iola Leroy was one of the first novels published by a black woman in the United States.
