900 Seconds welcomes Lia Braswell of Le Butcherettes!

If there is any veracity to myth, Lia Braswell would have much of her life drafted by its symbolism. Her mom would personify as the genie or fairy godmother who grants her that one, naive wish "to be the best drummer in the world".

As a sophomore album, Cry is for the Flies about to be released on Ipecac Records (September 16th) and her band, Le Butcherettes, is in for a wild journey into the unknown. Le Buthcerettes has toured with ANTEMASQUE and plan to continue touring for the remainder of the year.

Lia has been recording an album of her own that has no title and band name, but holds to be one of her most exciting projects to date. Alongside her in the project is one of her closest friends, Mike Rodriguez.They have been arranging a number of demos that Lia composed on her time off from Le Butcherettes but are choosing to take their time with the project's pursuit.

With a beautiful set up consisting of District Drum Company and C&C endorsements, she is blessed with all of the essential tools to become the artist she has always wanted to be. That one wish attracted all the inspiration and support from some of the most incredible visionaries around, which has in return, granted her continuance with all kinds of lessons, stories, grievances, and lifelong friendships that keep on guiding her through the experience.
