Dispelling the Myths focuses on breaking through the illusions and myths that keep us stuck in the darkness and finding our gifts that propel us to the light. She discusses topics like narcissistic and emotional abuse, cults, dark entities, addictions and other human conditions that we encounter on our path to the light.

    Success at Last

    Last week we had technical difficulties and couldn't get Kim and Steve on the show, so we decided to do it again this week with much success.  It was a great show, and once again, not long enough to cover everything we wanted to talk about.

    The subject of curing narcissism is quite complex and although we use those two words "curing narcissism" we really are not curing anything.   What Kim talks about is changing oneself and the way he/she approaches conflict.  Also how one deals with abuse.  She talks about parenting the immature child within the man she loves and looking at the behavior as being immature and defensive rather than evil and calculated. 

    However Kim also does not say that her suggested methods will work in every case.  Some relationships can be improved and some won't.  We have to be careful not to misconstrue her teachings to mean that one should tolerate abuse or stay in a relationship that is abusive.  Instead she gives methods to defuse an argument before it escalates to a violent episode, how to deal with the police, get the support you need and how to talk to your partner in a more effective manner.

    I think she gives advise that can be helpful in any relationship.  It is worth looking into.

Dear Kaleah we have been dealing with narissistic personality disorder plus vexatious litigation claims in the court room for 4 1/2 years and ongoing still today. We now have a senior sargent constable police officer working with my son as the realisation has come to pass, fortunately that is maybe a good thing? My son is now vomitting with each meal Drinks water and walks daily my son has been suicidual for 4 weeks and we are now in a continual crisis and my son needs to go to a psychologist in our area that understands how to explain this to my son? cawhalan@yahoo.com.au
