Beginning in 1952 as an inbetweener on Peter Pan for the Animation department of Walt Disney Studios. He would go on to work as an assistant animator on films such as Lady and the Tramp, Sleeping Beauty and 101 Dalmatians. Starting in 1959 he would become a vital piece of the WED Enterprises team, helping design such iconic attractions as It’s A Small World, The Haunted Mansion, The Enchanted Tiki Room, and the Tower of the Four Winds as it was featured in the 1964 New York World's Fair. In 2004 he was named a Disney Legend as an Imagineer and in April of 2009 his name was dedicated to one of the windows on Main Street USA as the proprietor of Fargo’s Palm Parlor, Roland F Crump. You may know him better simply by the nickname that Walt Disney himself gave him, Rolly. Ladies and gentlemen Rolly Crump.
