 Childhood Immigrants who are clueless about their status. 
        There are many children who came into the country illegally.  They were raised here to the point where they think they were born here because they have no recollection of being anywhere else.  They do not have a birth certificate or any documentation.  Some of them have been estranged from their biological parents because they came here to strangers or relatives who do not even have contact with the biological parents any more.  They cannot get legal immigration status because they have no proper documents verifying identity.  Some have even been given other people's documents to use to go to school etc.  Now they are adults, there is no mechanisms in place to get legal status.  A lost generation?
