If you are planning to visit Manhattan during the holidays, make sure to see the Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Christmas specials in the theater district, the Radio City Music Hall, and the ice-skating/tree lighting at the Rockefeller Center. There is NO place like New York City around the holidays! With the snow, lights and Christmas displays in all the department store windows, enjoy the spirit of the holidays as you stroll down 5th and 6th Avenues, Broadway, SoHo and Greenwich Village. If you are fortunate enough to stay through New Year's Eve for the countdown, you definitely will have stories to tell about how you survived welcoming the New Year with thousands of people in Times Square. Caitlin Havron was born and raised on Long Island, NY. She studied Political Science at James Madison University in Virginia, and lived in Egypt one summer, studying Arabic and Middle Eastern History.   Exploring Ambergris Caye, Belize

  Belize, located in Central America, is a beautiful destination for explorers of all sorts. Between the rain forests and the barrier reefs life abounds. For the historian, Mayan Ruins can be visited. Belize has the second largest barrier reef in the world. For scuba divers and snorkelers this is a paradise. Water temperatures hover in the mid 80’s during the summer months. Every dive is an adventure discovering reef sharks, turtles, and colorful fish of varying sizes. Ambergris Caye is the destination for water lovers. It’s located about an hour by boat from the mainland or a short 20 minute flight from Belize City Many American’s are moving here to retire and enjoy the year round temperate climate.   A Tour of Celtic Cornwall, England

  Author and Publisher, Laura Harrison McBride and her husband, Simon Piers Tiley, take National Holistic Travel Examiner, Gina Alzate, and the World Radio 365 listeners on a tour of Celtic Cornwall, England. They will visit towns along the coast including Tintagel, associated with King Arthur. McBride is the author of In Search of Modern Ireland, published in the mid-1980s by Dodd, Mead and now being reissued by Muffin Dog Press as IE, Ireland Explained. McBride runs a website and consulting business, EnglandSouthwest.com. Tiley is British and went to college in Cornwall, having been born and raised in nearby Devon, the entrance to mainland England in a manner of speaking, and still very Celtic. While he works as an engineer in international telecom by day, he dabbles in the history of Cornwall and Devon whenever he can.
