Tony Hartl founded Planet Tan in the Dallas/Fort Worth area with 3 locations. In the time it takes a kid to go from kindergarten to high school graduation, Mr. Hartl expanded the Planet Tan brand to 17 locations and 160 employees, generating over $1M per location and setting a benchmark of excellence for the tanning salon industry. He's received many awards for his work and sold the company to Palm Beach Tan, Inc. in 2008. He's documented his experiences at Planet Tan in his book, "SELLING SUNSHINE: 75 Tips, Tools & Tactics for Becoming a Wildly Successful Entrepreneur". He is currently the CEO of PAH Capital, an investment and holding company.
