I haven't visited this page in a while and it's been even longer since I've recorded a show.
There are several reasons for that. For one, I think I just prefer writing/blogging to interviewing. Interviewing is so much work, do research, contact the person, read some of their stuff, come up with some-what intelligent questions, all the while knowing very little about the subject matter. I mean interviewing was just too much work for something that doesn't pay!!!!!!!!
It was still fun doing it and really interesting to talk to the people I've interviewed. As all of them are magicians in one way or another, it was interesting to learn more about their lives.
Besides not wanting to interview anybody right now, there is another reason for why I was doing this. I was looking for a teacher actually, reading some of their books/ blogs etc, trying to get to know their style. I don't think that I've actually consciously formulated finding a teacher as a goal for interviewing these particular individuals; but I wanted to get to know the tradition, the practice, talk to someone experienced in their craft.
Neways, I sort of stopped looking because I found a teacher and a program that seemed right for me and my particular style.
So I am just doing an online course with them right now and really enjoy it. Maybe I'll post on here once in a while just to look back here and know where I've been.
