Dina Vessi

Hello and thank you for joining me on my show-page here on BlogTalkRadio. My basic interest is spirituality and metaphysics. I interview people on my show that in my opinion make a unique contribution to the subject matter through their teaching, books, and practice. In the archives you will find my conversations with modern day movers and shakers of applied metaphysics: witches, magicians, psychics, shamans and healers. What I like about the guests on my show is that they not only have a wealth of knowledge to share, by they also practice their craft, and willing to share it with the world. As you go through the archives, you will find that my interviews are mostly focused on finding out how did my guests discover their path, what are their spiritual views, and what clues they could give us to live a healthier, wealthier, and more abundant reality. If you like my interviews and are interested in learning more, please mark my show as a favorite. If you would like to be on my show, please contact me and let me know about yourself. If you have any questions or comments, you are welcome to leave those on my show page, or comment directly under specific interviews. Finally you can always contact me directly by sending me a message on BlogTalkRadio. Thank you for visiting my show-page and have a wonder-full day!!!

    Chaos Magic

I decided to post some of my own thoughts on chaos magic to clear up some misconceptions that I have personally encountered as I was doing my research on the subject..
The first misconception I've encountered is that chaos magic is dark or bad.. Well, that is I think a pretty common belief when it comes to any magic. People just tend to be scared of and reject what they don't understand.
Just like with any other kind of magic, in chaos, good and evil are in the intent of practitioner..The intent is the key to all magic, and only the intent can be categorized as beneficial or harmful..I personally think that just like in other type of energy work 'Harm None' is good place to be.
Secondly, I think that the word chaos itself carries a negative connotation in it...
Chaos, disorder, disorientation, things gone astray..- all those things have a negative or at least unpleasant connotation..
But I think that's actually the paradox and some sense the beauty of chaos magic--bringing harmony in the natural state of disorder.. And let's remember disorder is quite natural, there is nothing inherently wrong with disorder, it just means that we have to apply energy to put things together again..
So that's what chaos magic is applying energy to bring back the order, harmony, beauty,  happiness... back into one's life..Essentially that's the purpose of all magic, isn't it?

The cool thing about chaos magic is that barring the no harm precept, that there are no rules. Chaos magic is a very flexible system that more than anything encourages experimentation and testing. Test and experiment, experiment and test!..
The drawback, off course, is that there IS NO system, and you really have to do your own homework to find out what works for you..But isn't that what all good magicians do anyway?

Oh yeah, and one more thing..just in case you are wondering why the heck I am writing about magic...

Magic is the art of deliberate creation..no more and no less..So if you believe in being able to shape your life according to your goals and dreams, then you already believe in magic. Knowing and understanding more about magic will only bring more magic into your life!
