USC football head coach Steve Sarkisian was fired by Pat Haden and USC to allegedly seek treatment over alcoholism, the Core Show panelists will discuss a looming problem for USC that has been going on since Pete Carroll left. Steve Spurrier resigns from South Carolina to retire from being a college football head coach. We'll examine how both SC schools are affected by the sudden departure of their respective coaches, who happen to both be named Steve. Baseball-wise, we will discuss the results of the poll question that asked about exercising the unwritten rules in baseball as far as headhunting in the aftermath of the incident in which Chase Utley of the Los Angeles Dodgers took out the legs of New York Mets shortstop Ruben Tejada leading to Tejada breaking his right fibula. The question was is it wise to for the Mets to headhunt an opposing player from the Dodgers given that it's a playoff game? We'll also discuss Clayton Kershaw as well as the movie that predicted 30 years ago the Chicago Cubs would win the World Series this season. NFL-wise, the Uppers and Downers segment will focus on players and teams whose stock is on the rise as well as players and teams whose stock are on the decline including the Arizona Cardinals, Cincinnati Bengals, Eli Manning, all-star caliber NFL players like Jamaal Charles, Aaron Rodgers plus more. We'll also convene another panel from the LA Rams vs St Louis Rams Facebook page to discuss the latest developments in #NFL2LA.
