Countries with strong economies attract job seekers. Today an estimated 15% of the world's 7 billion people live in 22 countries most sound financially. Its believed that 50 million people have been displaced from from their place of birth for either economic or political reasons, or both. On this radio show we discuss issues related to legal immigration, brain drain of highly qualified professionals, success stories of immigrants and politics in the homeland. We bring experts from around the world and talk to them every Saturday for 4 hours starting at 8:00am to 12:00noon New York time. A list of topics and guests is posted here and at our website: http://www.mwape.com The first show was August 9th, 2008. Our founders are James & Ruth Mwape who work with the following host & contributors: Kambidima Wotela, PhD; Rev. Melody & Pastor Davies Lombe; Mwewa Mwape, Dr. Evans Phiri; Richard Mbewe, PhD; Ngoza Simwanza; Harrison Musonda; Chola Mukanga; Prof. Mwizenge Tembo, etc. While most guests are Zambians from Zambia and around the world, we also talk to non-Zambian's on a regular basis. Join us on Dispora Voice and see why we are called the Intelligent Voice.
