Dr. Saviour Chishimba, who resigned as Kasama Member of Parliament, is the United Progress Party (UPP) interim president. A strong advocate for opening up diplomatic relationship with Israel, he registered the Saviour Chishimba for Zambia Campaign Fund, a trustee fund managed by an independent board, to raise and administer funds for the UPP presidential candidates.
