Diane is an crazy liberal feminist… oh wait, that’s what other people say. What Diane says? I am pretty liberal especially these days, so check; a feminist, check; But crazy? Only when it scares away the truly scary people. I like to think of myself as a media queen, perhaps a media super hero, able to conduct business and create in any media outlet available. But maybe thats just wishful thinking for someone who has a family, a full time job, a writers group, a paranormal group and even a few super good friends. I read, I write, I think, I talk, I listen. You? Diane is a Democrat raised in a den of Republicans, a union member and organizer who was raised in a non-union state, an activist and non-conformist who was raised by conforming non-confrontationalists. A strong Christian faith leads and guides her open minded, non judgemental love of others. Diane is employed by a liberal arts university in the midwest, where she works in Executive Education. Diane has been a writer and activist, as well as a political lobbiest with Houston political groups. In Texas, Diane was a co-host with “After Hours” on public radio in Houston. She has worked for the Houston Independent School District and most enjoyed her time working at The High School for Performing and Visual Arts. When asked about herself the author says, "I am a traditionalist when it works, realist when necessary, and idealist whenever possible. The faith of my family remains: I was raised Presbyterian and am a practicing and yet still open minded Christian. I am a serious foodie, genealogist, an avid historic conservationist, cemetery buff, and I love to garden and cook. In terms of reading material I like suspense and mystery, and enjoy a good chiller when it's done well.
