Young, began her financial planning career in the New York Metropolitan area in 1989. She has taught financial planning credentialing courses at New York University, as well as educational workshops for many corporations, organizations, and nonprofit groups.She has also appeared on television, radio, and writes a column for Rochester Suburban Lifestyles. Most recently, she has in articles in Investment News and National Underwriter. Ms. Young is the President of The Athena Group, Ltd, a specialized financial planning practice specializing in the needs of female executives, business owners, and professionals. She holds a BA from Stony Brook University. She has a NASD series 7,53,63,65 and 24. She also holds her life, health and variable contracts licenses. Ms. Young is very active in her community, volunteering in many organizations and non-profits. She was just named Rochester Regional Chamber’s Business Woman of the Year by the Rochester Regional Chamber. She resides in Rochester, Michigan with her husband and two young children.
