M.Christiana Cagnoni has over 25 years of experience in the field of Integrative and Complementary Healing therapies, education, workshops and retreats as well as founding and developing a health food manufacturing company. Christiana maintains a healing practice, Healing from the Heart, rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Qi Gong healing offering numerous educational programs and private training. She is known as a catalyst for positive change and has the ability to create a climate for wellness within an individual. Christiana’s entrepreneurial skills give her an impressive record of developing and implementing cutting edge organizations and businesses such as: A.O.B.T.A. in 1989 (co-founder), the Mid-West Shiatsu Center, American School of Oriental Medicine and Matter of Flax LLC. . Early in her career while raising her 5 children Christiana was the business manager of 3 successful Montessori schools as well as an acting para-professional. She owned, managed, practiced and taught at the DuPage Shiatsu Clinic with a 200 person client base. She has inspired and taught many students in her 3 year masters program in the art of Shiatsu-Anma therapy. The Zen Minute Workshop, Mindful Mothering, Shiatsu for Couples, Pre-Natal Qi, Power of the Yin, Healthy, Wealthy & Wise and S.T.O.P. are some of Christiana’s successful educational programs and retreats. Christiana is recognized for her compassion and her passion for and dedication to assisting people with improving their mental, physical and spiritual well being through private healing sessions and education as related to breathing, mindfulness meditation, stress reduction, movement and diet. She has traveled and taught in Japan, Mexico and Central America and speaks fluent Spanish.
