    There goes the neighborhood

It's been said that when black folks move into a seemingly nice, quiet, and clean neighborhood.. It all goes downhill from there. Today I am going to be discussing why African Americans are viewed in such a light or are the masses correct in saying this is typical. Let me hear from you!

  • Original Air Date:

    Teen Violence, wake up America!

This segment is focusing on the teen violence and what happened to an honor roll student in Chicago who was beaten to death. Let's discuss why our youth, our black youth have become so violent and heartless. Can you blame the parents, the teachers, cleargy?? Let's talk about it.

  • Original Air Date:

    The Brown Paper Bag Test

The "brown paper bag test" was a ritual once practiced by certain African-American and Creole fraternities and sororities who discriminated against people who were "too dark." That is, these groups would not let anyone into the sorority or fraternity whose skin tone was darker than a paper lunch bag, in order to maintain a perception of standards. Spike Lee's film School Daze satirized this practice at historically black colleges and universities. Let's discuss how this still effects us today.

  • Original Air Date:

Black in America, We have to do better!

We as African Americans have to do better, we have to realize that the struggle is still alive and well. What are your feelings about being black in America. Are you equal or do you feel as though we have forgotten the struggle? Tune in with me and voice your opinion. We gotta do better!
