Aint no heart in the city..... Corleone, aka Corle 2 Da, bka, Corle is one of two members of the 618 based rap group Costlofobic. Corle was the original founding member of Costlofobic, and formed the group in late 2000. Corle, born Rod Burgett, hails from the 618, (East side of the Mississippi River, in the St. Louis Metropolitan area) and is destined to put his city on the map! Corle started his career as a rapper at the age of 12, him and fellow aspiring rapper Tic-Toc, (formerly of Costlofobic) toured the local area doing talent shows and open mic nights as a means to get their music out! In 2002, Corle linked up with Playa D, who was at the time, the CEO of Infared, (another 618 based rap group), and joined forces. To date Costlofobic has released 9 full length LP’s, 5 original albums dating back to 2002, and 4 mixtapes with the most recent dropping in September of 2008. 2010 is set to bring many changes for the Fobic Boys, Corle and Playa D are both working on solo endeavors, all the while still performing and making hit records as Costlofobic. Corle’s latest mixtape titled, “Mr. 618/I Am Hip Hop” is currently in heavy rotation since its release in Winter 2009. Corle has blessed many stages from Memphis to Chicago over the years, and has no intention of slowing down. He has performed and recorded with many artists such as: Gena, Ruka Puff, Fu Fops, Scripts-N-Screwz, 652, Infared, C. Peezy, J. Breezie, LMNOP, DIB, Eternity, Supreme Team, B-Skandalous, Quickchug, Hectic, J. Gettem, 932, IllOne, Bloodshot, Devious, Menace, Born Thuggaz, Bird Flu, Tha Prospects, Stateline, and many more!
