Show Notes

When we are inwardly poor, we indulge in every form of outward show, in wealth, power and possessions. When our hearts are empty, we collect things. If we can afford it, we surround ourselves with objects that we consider beautiful, and because we attach enormous importance to them, we are responsible for much misery and destruction. The acquisitive spirit is not the love of beauty; it arises from the desire for security, and to be secure is to be insensitive. ~~~~~BUILD commUNITY BY WORKING YOUR PURPOSE & WATCH LIVES BLOSSOM BEYOND BELIEF.~~~~~ Understanding of the self is freedom from knowledge. --BE STRONG ENOUGH 2 HANDLE t/GROUND SHIFTING UNDER YOUR FEET.-- (Proverbs 31) __http://twitwall.com/view/?who=THEDIAMONDCOACH_ __Kimyon@1diamondcoaching.com__

Living as a Woman Spiritually-Awake and Materially-Successful - What does this mean for our world?

    Thursday, October 15, 2009  8PM Est.

My Special Guest Alana Fairchild deserves a blog

Alana Fairchild is an Australian spiritual teacher, intuitive healer and psychotherapist. She has always been in conscious connection wtih Spiritual Guidance, even as a small child. She reads, translates and effects changes in the human energy field. In her work she is a psychologist of the soul, a modern-day priestess, communing with the Divine and channeling guidance and energy from that Source to uplift and inspire a wounded spirit. She stands for living an authentic, spiritually-connected life that is dedicated to soul growth and service to the greater good through the development and expression of our individual unique gifts and talents. She is of service to those who wish to live as their higher selves and grow in spiritual consciousness, to experience greater meaning and peace in their lives for the greater good of all.

Living as a Woman Spiritually-Awake and Materially-Successful - What does this mean for our world?

I am very passionate about the role of women in our world today. Being a non-traditional role model myself, and being questioned about why I chose not to have children as though this makes me less of a woman or an enigma at best, has really surprised me.

It is my belief that women aren't bound by traditional roles of wife and mother, though if they desire that in their heart, go for it of course! Nor is it my belief that women have to define themselves by their other choices of committing to a vocation or career. I believe that women are here to choose how to use their particular biology - whether it be physically or spiritually - to give birth on this planet. They may birth children, a business, an idea or a philosophy. They are in a unique position of often unrecognised power and potential as the birth-mothers of new consciousness.

This is about how we feel, what we choose to nurture within our own beings and bodies and how we live that in our lives - we are giving it to our children, to our clients, and to the planet. How exciting and empowered a woman can feel when she recognises her innate creative role, and how she can define how to express it according to her own values.
