ABOUT AUTHOR NICOLE J. PERSUN Nicole J. Persun's professional writing career began when she was sixteen, after Booktrope—an independent publisher in Seattle—accepted her first novel, a young adult epic fantasy. A Kingdom's Possession later went on to be a finalist for Foreword Reviews' 2011 Book of the Year Award as well as an Amazon Bestseller. Nicole's second novel, an adult epic fantasy titled Dead of Knight, recently won First Place in Foreword Magazine's 2013 Book of the Year Award competition, and has also seen Amazon's Bestseller rankings.
