Join Cherise, Scott and George a long with a few panelist from the upcoming  Diabetes Hope Conference and the creator of Diabetes Blog Week, Karen Graffeo.

Diabetes Hope Conference

While there is no known cure for diabetes, that doesn't mean the diagnosis is hopeless. Join us on May 20 at 11am Central Time, when we convene panelists from the medical, blogger and diabetes community worlds to engage in frank and honest discussions about diabetes.

Through the magic of GoToWebinar and HD Faces, we'll live stream all of the virtual panels and take questions live from the audience via Twitter and the hashtag #dHopeConf.

D-Blog Week

What inspired Diabetes Blog Week?  For those of you who haven’t participated before, Diabetes Blog Week was originally inspired by a fiber-bloggers event called Knitting and Crochet Blog Week.  When Karen participated that first year on her knitting blog she loved the way it united the community, and she knew I wanted to try to do the same for the DOC.

What is the aim of Diabetes Blog Week?  The main idea for Diabetes Blog Week  is that bloggers sign up to post about a set topic each day for a week.  This way, readers can jump around the DBlog Community and get a plethora of different perspectives on a single topic.  The hope is that new DOC connections are made, and that our voices are raised to spread a little more diabetes awareness.
