Jeff Hitchcock is the president and founder of Children with Diabetes, Inc. (CWD). CWD hosts one of the largest diabetes-related web sites in the world at www.childrenwithdiabetes.com. The site hosts over 20,000 visitors per day from countries around the world. CWD also hosts educational and support conferences throughout the year, including its national Friends for Life conference held each year in Orlando, Florida. Thousands of people from across the US and the world attend.

Jeff founded Children with Diabetes in June 1995 to share his family’s experiences in raising a child with diabetes. Marissa, Jeff and Brenda’s first child, was diagnosed in September 1989 at the age of 24 months. She graduated with a Bachelor’s in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati in May 2009, married Adam in 2012, and welcomed a healthy baby boy into the world in September of 2013.

Children with Diabetes is an Ohio-based non-profit that provides unbiased, science-based education and support to families living with type 1 diabetes.
