About Brad

Brad brings decades of healthcare care marketing and strategic planning experience to 1SweetLife.org. His career as a media and advertising professional includes roles as Managing Partner of two advertising agencies, Marketing Director of a major market radio station, and National Account Manager and Executive Producer for an international satellite broadcasting firm.

With a passion for public health education and marketing, Lowder wrote, produced, and directed a nationally syndicated radio program, Sports Health Today, which aired daily on 120 radio stations, and globally on Armed Forces Radio Network and Voice of America. Lowder also coauthored a book on Patient Relations, developed strategic marketing and public relations campaigns for hospital systems, physician groups, and regional dental associations. He also created and administered a nationwide interactive dental health education program for grade schoolers funded by the Colgate-Palmolive Company.

Lowder received a BA degree is Mass Communications from Brigham Young University. In the spring of 2010, Brad's 15-year old son was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, which ignited Lowder's personal passion to inspire young people with diabetes to have hope and know they can live life to the fullest.
