About Andrea Hulke


Andrea R Hulke is Director of National Outreach for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation headquartered in New York. Prior to joining the National staff of JDRF, Andrea worked for over 5 years in JDRF’s chapters, first as a chapter volunteer then as staff in Saint Louis and later in Piedmont Triad, North Carolina Chapters. Andrea was JDRF’s very first Chapter Outreach Manager in the country, starting the program in just two chapters and now managing the local programs in all 110 JDRF Chapters and branches. In addition, Andrea manages the development and implementation of JDRF’s National type 1 patient resources and support programs. Her goal is to provide infor­mation and resources about type 1 diabetes, diabetes research, and how best to manage and cope with this disease during each new phase of life.
