We are thrilled to welcome Tameka Taylor of Compass Consulting Services for the first segment of the show. Tameka L. Taylor, Ph.D. is a partner and consultant of Compass Consulting Services, LLC located in Cleveland, Ohio. Prior to this, she worked at The Diversity Center of Northeast Ohio (formerly NCCJ) where she served the organization for almost 14 years and for the last several years as Vice President & Director of Leadership Development. She earned her undergraduate degree from Baldwin-Wallace College, her Masters Degrees from Bowling Green State University, and her Ph.D. from Kent State University. Currently, she is involved in several community related diversity committees, organizations, and initiatives. She’s also the proud Mother of high school student Andre’. Tameka will be speaking with us about the value of effective communication in business. As she says, “As a small business owner, communication is an important part of effectively running a business.” For our second segment we are fortunate to have Dr. Dick Dawson, PhD joining us. Dick is a expert in the field of retirement and careers. He works with organizations and Fortune 500 companies helping them navigate this new economic climate as it pertains to their employees.
