    The Journey Begins Soon

    The title of this post, The Journey Begins Soon, has two aspects: the journey of me in this BlogTalkRadio world and the international journeys I'm commencing next week.
     
    I got turned on to the idea of having a show on BlogTalk Radio when I was interviewed here a week ago by my colleague Jim Turner. We talked about BlogWorld & New Media Expo in Las Vegas, November 7-9, which I am really looking forward to. With Rich Brooks of flyte new media I'll be hosting a conversation about "Going Global with New Media".

    But before I get to the USA, from my home here on the other side of the Pacific Ocean, I'm heading for China for the first time. In fact, this time next week I'll be in China and attending the ad:tech Beijing event. I'm moderating a panel there with my colleague Debbie Weil, author of The Corporate Blogging Book, and Jason Ge, who is National GM Sales at Sina on the subject of creating a corporate social networking platform, especially with blogging.     So with all that travelling coming up and fully expecting to meet an array of very interesting people, my plan is to organise a battery of interviews in coming weeks.

    I'll have to look at my itinerary to see just what is likely to work in terms of frequency of broadcasts.

    But I'm excited about the prospect.
