Sheryll E. Roberts was born in Sylvester, Georgia and moved to Houston, Texas when she turned 4.  She is a graduate of Sam Rayburn High School in Pasadena, Texas, and is an incest survivor; she was sexually abused from the age of 4 to the age of 15.  Overcoming obstacles stemming from the hurtful part of her life, such as depression, suicide, and self-loathe, she started Life of Hope After Abuse (LHAA) in 2006.  LHAA is a non-profit organization promoting awareness for sexual abuse and helping other victims get the help that they need to overcome this traumatic experience.
