But before he could find David, he and Jonathan would be killed in battle. But when they were killed in battle, a nurse who was caring for Jonathan's young son tried to escape as she thought David would find them and they would be killed with a revenge David would seek out.   When the nurse who was running to escape while holding Jonathan's son tripped and fell, she dropped the young child on cement who became crippled from that day on. This child's name was Mephibosheth. Through no fault of his own, he lived in a town called Lo-debar, a despised, desolate and "no pasture" land as it was known.  Then one day, his entire life was about to change forever, as God had not forgotten him. 00:26:00Destined For GlorynoSometimes we feel like God has forgotten us, then we situations where we realize He's only been silent till the right time, and then, He brings us OUT to bringExhilarating Faithhttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/destinedforglory/2016/02/24/exhilarating-faithMotivationhttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/destinedforglory/2016/02/24/exhilarating-faith/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/destinedforglory/2016/02/24/exhilarating-faithWed, 24 Feb 2016 03:00:00 GMTExhilarating FaithThere's nominal daily faith and then there is a supernatural faith born out of spiritual food from The Word of God, Holy Scripture. This faith turns into a way of living with an exhilaration of faith found in a relationship with the Living God who satisfies more abundantly (Jn. 10:10)." Faith consumed the woman at the well who left her burdensome water jug behind and did not wait for an invitation to testify of her encounter with God (In that culture woman spoke when invited only.) This unnamed woman could be you or me. She didn't wait to be invited but ran to tell the town's people that Jesus was the Messiah. They, in turn, ran out to meet this Saviour of The World. (This term was used exclusively for the Roman Emperor, but at the time of John's writing, it was used almost exclusively for the title given to Jesus.) Nominal faith turns into exhilarating faith as we listen and watch this scene that drew followers to Jesus who gave up everything to learn from Him. These were those who abandoned their water jugs as the woman at the well, tax collection tables, fishing nets and more, and these their jobs and lifetime skills to be in the presence of one who offered them Living Water of eternal value. As we drink from this well of Living Water daily, we become movers and shakers like many before us who revived and awakened the spiritually dead and thirsty.    You may also view: http://www.indeliblelove.com    01:01:00Destined For Glorynofaith,Jacobs well, thristy, messiah, exhilarationIf you have or are feeling your faith is stale and life boring or mundane, please tune in as I take you to the well of Living Waters and introduce you to The GJEHOVA NISSIhttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/destinedforglory/2015/04/04/jehova-nissiThe Biblehttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/destinedforglory/2015/04/04/jehova-nissi/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/destinedforglory/2015/04/04/jehova-nissiSat, 04 Apr 2015 03:00:00 GMTJEHOVA NISSIGod is our Banner it the subject of this show.  He is Victor and for His Victory on the cross, His finished work, we can identify with Him as crucified, burried, and risen to new life upon receiving Him as the Savior of our souls. He paid a debt we owed, and could not pay.  Even in the Olympics a banner is waved for the winner as victor. The most important thing flags or banners do, however, is mark victory. It is well understood that the conquering army in any battle has the right to remove the defeated country's flag and replace it with their own, usually in the highest spot possible for all to see. The country with the conquering flag has won and now they are in control.   Jehova Nissi is a Hebrew word, for "The Lord is our Banner."  And during this Easter time of Celebration where Christians world wide celebrate the death, burriel and resurrection of Christ, it is His Resurrected Life that sets Christianity apart from every other religious belief.  And with credible eye witnesses of His victory, we too can live as overcomers who are filled with the same power that raised Christ from the dead.  So, sit back and enjoy Jesus as "Jehova Nissi." Be encouraged as our God is a Mighty Warrior, victorious to redeem all who will receive Him by faith.   01:05:00Destined For GlorynoJehova Nissi, redeemer, victor, victorious,EasterGod is our Banner it the subject of this show.  He is Victor and for His Victory on the cross, His finished work, we can identify with Him as crucified, burriedRelationships: Looking At Some Do's and Dont'shttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/destinedforglory/2015/03/29/relationships-looking-at-some-dos-and-donts-1Motivationhttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/destinedforglory/2015/03/29/relationships-looking-at-some-dos-and-donts-1/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/destinedforglory/2015/03/29/relationships-looking-at-some-dos-and-donts-1Sun, 29 Mar 2015 03:00:00 GMTRelationships: Looking At Some Do's and Dont'sRelatiohships come in all shapes and sizes, from family relationships, marriage relationships, sibling relationships, employer and employee relationships, friendships and more.  We also have cultrural differences with relationships, ploitical relationships, and before we can even begin to discus effective cures for broken relationships, one must have some knowledge with life-experiences - substance to relate which comes with years of relational interactions on many levels.  If learning anything from life in general, they have generally learned the "how-to's" for strengththing relationships, troubleshoothing problems, recognizing a potential problem on the horizon and catching those "little foxes" before they destroy all the new growth. But for anyone interested in learning about how to become a positive element in their everyday relationships - instead of a downer, we must first learn the basics in relationship building.  Jesus is the greatest example of a relationship builder that I know, and He also knew HOW to determine who was genuine and who was not.  Of course, He was a leader in relationship building. He knew how to stir the pot wisely in order to see clearly to be clear.  Then, there are those, even today, who know Jesus as not much more than an "idea" to promote, for some "great thing" they want to accomplish.  I know you will enjoy this show.  It is current and relative, as there is not one breathing soul who cannot benefit from this lesson today. 00:59:00Destined For Glorynorelationships, business, love,Jesus,The Power of InfluenceRelatiohships come in all shapes and sizes, from family relationships, marriage relationships, sibling relationships, employer and employee relationships, frien"More Than Conquerors and Spiritual Warfare" -- Part Twohttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/destinedforglory/2015/03/02/more-than-conquerors-and-spiritual-warfare---part-twoThe Biblehttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/destinedforglory/2015/03/02/more-than-conquerors-and-spiritual-warfare---part-two/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/destinedforglory/2015/03/02/more-than-conquerors-and-spiritual-warfare---part-twoMon, 02 Mar 2015 00:00:00 GMT"More Than Conquerors and Spiritual Warfare" -- Part TwoKing David did not just "settle" for defeating the Jebusites, He advanced forward to "conqueror."  He named the fortress of Zion, for which his opponents said he was powerless to defeat, "The City of David (2Samuel 5:7)."  In his earlier days as a shepherd boy and while God was training him for his called kingly position, we see pictures where his foot is placed on the neck of the giant, Goliath.  This foothold is understood to mean, not just conquest, but "more than a conqueror" or, "down for the count" as a referee might judge today.  When Jesus rose from the dead in bodily form, He did not just conquer death, He was "more than a conqueror." The apostle Paul said:  "We are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus (Rom. 8:37)." The show today will look at the different pieces of spiritual armor and what purpose they serve.  We will also look at the Sword of The Spirit which is The Word of God and how to use this equipping correctly. The show today will address "strongholds" and what these are to us today. * Please note, that if you are not able to listen to the show in it's entirity, you can always come back later and at the top of the page is a bar with an arrow and time clock.  Just move the timer to wherever you left off and you can finish listening.  Your comments are encouraged and welcomed at the bottom of the page as well.   01:14:00Destined For Glorynospiritual warfare, more than a conqueror,David,Saul,En GediKing David did not just "settle" for defeating the Jebusites, He advanced forward to "conqueror."  He named the fortress of Zion, for which his opponents saiGroundwork: "More Than Conquerors and Spiritual Warfare"http://www.blogtalkradio.com/destinedforglory/2015/02/25/groundwork-more-than-conquerors-and-spiritual-warfareThe Biblehttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/destinedforglory/2015/02/25/groundwork-more-than-conquerors-and-spiritual-warfare/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/destinedforglory/2015/02/25/groundwork-more-than-conquerors-and-spiritual-warfareWed, 25 Feb 2015 02:00:00 GMTGroundwork: "More Than Conquerors and Spiritual Warfare"Only those who have been trained and made ready by God can lead and advance forward His Army into new spiritual territory. -Today this army would be His Church as one voice and mind in Christ.  New territory might be depths of God's Word yet to be discovered with teaching and training in righteousness. In order to do this effictively and with as minimal loss of casualty as possible (divisions, confusion, fears, etc.), some serious groundwork must take place, and in this groundwork is recognizing just how devistating it is when we do it our own way.  While studying Judges chapters 17 and 18, Micah's song if he lived today might be:  "I did it my way." As I began to put this message together for two solid days or more, researshing and studying as I did not want to produce a message on this subject matter that listeners have heard many times before, or a message my skeptic listeners might get board with, I knew these Judges chapters were perfect for a Part One of "Spiritual Warfare."  These chapters are a vivid picture of the disaster that can happen when people do not do it God's Way.  What better way to prepare an individual,  a family or a church body, than to cringe and squirm a little as we see what happens when we leave God out of the picture. These two chapters reveal what people do when we do it "our way" and what becoming "More than Conquerors" in Chirst Jesus is not, and never will be.  Get your pens and paper ready as I know you are going to enjoy the show today. Jesus was "The Word,"  He was "The Word made flesh," He was "The Lamb of God," He was "Full of Grace," "Teacher w/authority," "Healer," and "Miracle Worker." We also have "eye witness" accounts of His Resurrection, credible people who saw and walked with Jesus after His crucifiction.
